Paint looks different on a big wall, in your room's light, than on a small chip in a store.
How
- Collect a few chips you like
- Buy sample pots of your top two or three
- Paint large swatches on poster board or the wall
- Look at them in morning, afternoon and evening light
- Live with them for a few days before deciding
Tip
North-facing rooms get cooler light; south-facing rooms get warmer light. Colors can shift a lot between them.
