Prep your walls

A smooth, clean, dry surface is what makes paint look professional.

Steps

1. Remove outlet covers and switch plates
2. Fill nail holes and cracks with spackle, then sand smooth
3. Wash greasy or dirty areas with mild soap and water
4. Let everything dry completely
5. Tape edges where you want a crisp line
